Method

  1. Chill your serving glass by placing it in the freezer or filling with ice water
  2. In a mixing glass, combine 45ml whiskey, 30ml Campari, and 30ml sweet vermouth
  3. Fill mixing glass with large, fresh ice cubes and stir gently for 30-45 seconds
  4. Empty your chilled serving glass and strain the cocktail into it
  5. Express orange twist oils over the drink by squeezing the peel, then drop in as garnish

Method

  1. Add blended Scotch, fresh lemon juice, ginger syrup, and honey syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds to properly combine and chill all ingredients.
  3. Double strain through Hawthorne and fine mesh strainers into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice to remove any ginger pulp.
  4. Using a bar spoon, gently float the Islay Scotch on top of the cocktail by pouring slowly over the back of the spoon.
  5. Garnish with a piece of candied ginger on a cocktail pick or rim of the glass.

Method

  1. Chill the old fashioned glass by filling with ice or placing in freezer while preparing the cocktail.
  2. In a mixing glass, combine rye whiskey, cognac, sweet vermouth, Bénédictine, Peychaud's bitters, and Angostura bitters.
  3. Fill mixing glass with plenty of ice and stir smoothly for 45-60 seconds until well-chilled and properly diluted.
  4. Discard ice from chilled glass and strain the cocktail over fresh ice, preferably one large cube.
  5. Express lemon peel oils over the drink by twisting over the glass, then drop the peel into the cocktail as garnish.

  2. Muddle the sugar cube until completely dissolved, creating a syrup at the bottom of the glass.
  3. Add the whiskey and one large ice cube or several smaller cubes.
  4. Stir gently for 15-30 seconds to chill and dilute the cocktail to the proper balance.
  5. Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink by holding it over the glass and giving it a firm twist.
  6. Optionally rim the glass with the orange peel, then drop it into the drink as garnish.
