About this drink
The Paradise Cocktail appeared in cocktail books in the 1920s and is recognised by the IBA as one of the classic gin drinks. The pairing of gin, apricot liqueur and orange juice was typical of the period's fondness for fruity, lightly sweet shaken drinks. It remains a fine example of how well gin and apricot get along when citrus is allowed to tie everything together.
