About this drink
The Rum Firewalker is a modern tiki drink that breaks with tradition by using Campari as a bitter foil to funky, high-proof Jamaican rum. It was created by Jason Alexander of Devil's Reef in Tacoma, and its big break came when Shannon Mustipher included it in her tribute to tiki's new wave. The mix of ester-heavy rum, Italian bitterness and warm cinnamon makes it one of the most striking tiki drinks of the past decade. The full measure of overproof rum is the original spec, so treat it with respect.
