About this drink
The Tuxedo Cocktail dates from the late 1800s and is named after the elegant Tuxedo Park in New York, where high society gathered. It is a distant cousin of the Martini, with a sweeter, aromatic finish from maraschino and orange bitters. Today it is on the IBA's list of 'Unforgettables', classics that never go out of style.
