About this drink
The Rum Swizzle is often called Bermuda's national drink, and its most famous home is the Swizzle Inn, which opened in 1932. The name comes from the swizzle stick, a branched twig spun between the palms to whip the drink cold and frothy without a shaker. It is still a fixture of beach bars and family gatherings on the island, usually served in tall glasses packed with crushed ice.
