About this drink
The Daiquiri comes from Cuba in the late nineteenth century and takes its name from the coastal town of the same name. Its frozen, fruity version became popular in American bars in the mid twentieth century, when the blender became a fixture of cocktail culture. The strawberry version balances the original Daiquiri’s classic sweet-tart profile with the fruit’s natural sweetness and colour.
